What should I bring?

If you have never been to a campground such as ours you might not be sure what you need to bring to enjoy a comfortable stay. We have compiled a suggested packing list for your convenience but please remember that Whispering Oaks is only a few minutes from town in the event that you forget something that is needed during your stay with us. We will be happy to give you directions to the closest retail location that will have what you may be looking for.

 
  • Beach Towels for the pool
  • Insect Repellent Towels & Wash Cloths for the Shower
  • Sun Block
  • Toiletries
  • Sheets for bed
  • Pillows
  • Blanket or sleeping bag
  • Radio & Music
  • Flip flops/shower shoes
  • Business card/contact info (you're gonna make friends)
  • Lawn chairs
  • Extension cords
  • Extra coolers for your cold stuffs
  • Lighter

  • Allergy Meds
  • Suggested Food List
  • Tent (if you are camping in a tent space)
  • Drinks for the entire weekend
  • Snacks for the entire weekend
  • Something for lunch on Saturday
  • Potluck dish 
Please remember that part of the joy of our peaceful campground is that it is not littered with debris. Please be mindful of the items you bring and take any trash to the appropriate locations before you leave.
